The flex line is ideal for giving a dog freedom.
However, pulling is rewarded with the flex line. Therefore, never combine a flex line with an anti-pulling harness or dumbbell. The combination of flex line and dumbbell is very stressful for the neck. If you want to unlearn/discourage your dog from pulling, leave the flex line in the closet for a while.
Also, the dog can slip and look for the end stop. A sudden stop puts unnecessary strain on the spine and joint in hind and front legs.
During rehabilitation, the use of a flex line is therefore prohibited.
If your dog frequently seeks the end stop, an elastic intermediate piece, a shock absorber, is recommended.
